Babushka’s – Temple Terrace

My husband and I are always looking for new spots to try and though this spot has been around for a while, we are just now discovering it! We had the most amazing meal and everything on the menu sounded so good, we didn't where to start. So we grabbed two apps and shared the sampler entree. The apps were the Siberian pelmeni (little dumplings) and Khachapuri pie (pan-fried egg and cheese). The Sampler had Beef Stroganoff, Chicken Kiev, Lamb Plov and Golubtzy Cabbage rolls and we honestly couldn't decide what we liked better!

We will definitely be back to try more from the menu.

Absolutely amazing experience at Babushka Restaurant! The food was delicious, fresh, and tasted just like homemade Eastern European cuisine. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Portions were generous, prices reasonable, and everything we ordered was full of flavor. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic comfort food and a cozy family-style dining experience. Will definitely come back.

Babushka’s in Temple Terrace is a hidden gem that you absolutely must try. The food, service, and atmosphere are all fantastic. The ambiance is incredibly cozy, with wall art and a lot of woodwork. The servers are also very polite and helpful.

We started with the Kachapuri
pie as an appetizer and a Northern Tea as our beverage. The Kachapuri pie was savory and made of eggs, and it tasted just perfect.

For our main course, we had the Beef stroganoff and a soup. Both of those dishes were delicious and full of unique flavors. They were very satisfying and had the ability to transport us to a different place.

For dessert, we had the Napoleon, which was interesting.

All the portions are huge, so you can easily share them.

We were very satisfied with our meal and highly recommend Babushka’s. We will definitely be making another trip soon.

The food is exceptional—fresh, authentic, and clearly made with care. Every dish is beautifully prepared, generously portioned, and packed with rich, homemade flavor. Whether you're familiar with Eastern European cuisine or trying it for the first time, you're in for a real treat.
The restaurant itself is spotless, cozy, and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed meal. The staff is attentive, friendly, and happy to answer questions or offer recommendations, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.
If you're anywhere near Tampa, Babushka's is absolutely worth the visit. Delicious food, wonderful service, generous portions, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere—I can't recommend it highly enough. We'll definitely be coming back!

The inside is decorated so nicely and it has a great aesthetic that makes you feel like you’re actually in Europe.

Our server Emma was so helpful and knew the menu and the food so well. She was kind and answered all our questions and helped us have a great experience.

The FOOD. Oh my word. Everything we had was so delicious. The dumplings, the soup, the desserts, the entrees, oh my gosh. The flavor was incredible. The portions were perfect. We had 6 of us and did family style with the appetizers and main entrees and desserts and we were all perfectly filled.

I will be coming back and telling all my friends about this place!!

My favorites were the chicken Kyiv, the mashed potatoes, apple dessert, and cabbage and beef pierogi.
