8 months agoI’m posting this after moving out because my experience at Casa Mara significantly impacted my comfort and sense of safety at home.
For a long stretch of time, I dealt with ongoing issues involving a nearby neighbor that made using my patio/balcony extremely stressful. The pattern was consistent: when I went outside, the neighbor would come out shortly after and sit/position himself close to the shared boundary facing toward my space for extended periods. It happened often enough that I began limiting my time outside because I felt watched and uncomfortable. There were also repeated occasions where cigarette smoke drifted directly into my patio area for prolonged periods, making the space difficult to use.
I attempted privacy measures (window film/coverage) and installed a Ring doorbell camera for peace of mind, but the pattern continued and the neighbor questioned me about it, which added to the tension.
Management’s handling of my concerns was also troubling. When I attempted to explore legal options, I was advised to request the neighbor’s legal name from the property manager because the name he gave me was not his government name. Management refused to provide it, and I ultimately had to request police assistance on-site to obtain the name. The responding officer told me the manager stated she would not be moving the neighbor, rather than addressing the resident-to-resident issue I reported.
On Christmas Eve, I switched my HVAC to heat and my apartment rapidly filled with thick, dark smoke coming through the vents. I called 911, evacuated, and was instructed to pull the building fire alarm. After the fire department cleared the building and my unit, the fire chief advised the smoke was consistent with very dirty ducts/vents (dust/debris burning off when heat turned on). Black ash was left on my bed frame, mattress, and clothing, and the odor required days of airing out. I did not receive follow-up from management, and maintenance did not come to check on me afterward.
One additional professionalism issue: when maintenance entered my unit for repairs—especially when I wasn’t home—there was no official entry notice left behind (no paper slip or documentation indicating who entered and when). In many complexes, this is standard practice for transparency and resident peace of mind, but that was not the case here.
Overall, Casa Mara wasn’t a good fit for me due to ongoing neighbor boundary issues, secondhand smoke, a serious HVAC/ventilation incident, and lack of responsive follow-up. If you value privacy, safety, and attentive management/maintenance, I’d be very cautious before renting here.
Beware of renting here as a female living alone!!!!! Photos of my neighbor who was on his patio 24/7 listed below.
Do better Willow Bridge & eliminate property managers allowing this behavior to occur with no resolution in a 3 year lease contract.

2 years agoI stopped in to tour the 2 bedroom apartment. I had the pleasure of being helped by Jeff. He showed me the plethora of amenities and then the 2 bedroom. The property offers both garden style and mid-rise apartments. I would definitely recommend this property as it’s close to downtown and the beaches and offer one of the best amenities in the area.

5 months agoAs of April 1, 2026, this property no longer allows deliveries from UPS, FedEx, DHL, or other standard carriers. The only carrier permitted on-site is USPS.
All tenants are now required to use a third-party service, Fetch Package, which operates out of Delray Beach. This forces residents to ship all packages to an off-site warehouse, where they are then redelivered days later. This process creates significant delays and increases the risk of lost or mishandled items.
This policy was not included in the lease and was implemented without proper notice. It fundamentally changes a basic and expected part of living in an apartment, which is the ability to receive direct deliveries at your home.
Delivery drivers do not have access to the building, and packages are left outside. If you are not present at the time of delivery (impossible as they deliver to the old mail room, we do not have door bells the only way for you to know they are there is them physically knocking on your door, which is impossible as they do not have access), your packages are left outside with no security, no controlled access, and no protection from theft, damage, or weather. They also threatened to have all packages refused and returned to sender as of 5/01/2026 please see the attached email for proof.
At approximately $4,000 per month for a two-bedroom after fees, tenants should reasonably expect secure and direct delivery access. Instead, residents are being forced into an unreliable third-party system while also having deliveries left completely unsecured.
Prospective tenants should be fully aware of this policy before signing a lease. Based on the lack of disclosure, the forced use of a third-party service, and the complete lack of delivery security, this situation raises serious concerns about fairness and potential legality.

7 months agoBy far the best managed building i ever stayed in. The front office of Arlyn,Candace,Jeff go above and beyond to help you with your issues in the building. The maintenance team is the best i ever dealt with as well with repairs literally getting taken care of a few hours after the ticket goes in. Great overall experience living at the complex the past 2 years!
